I remember when they changed the format of the OWB to the UBB format; the whole crowd that hung out there nearly had Kevin killed by a team of assassins. But he changed it anyway, and some of 'em stuck around, and some of 'em left.
I remember when Kevin shut down the Riders' Board - I used to hang out there, but I didn't anymore, by that point. We were upset for a bit, then we moved on.
Both testaments to elitism managed to be transported to new locations, as will this one, I'm sure. Bottom line is: The board exists for a bunch of fanboys and girls to piss their pants when Kevin responds to their post and then proceed to tell all their friends that Kevin Smith is their close personal friend.
The whole concept of Kevin paying for a board that he has nothing to do with is kinda stupid. It's like paying rent on an apartment that only strangers use when they want to hang out.
As Lynch said when the Riders board went down (I'm paraphrasing):
"You nerded out there for a while. You'll find somewhere else to nerd out soon enough."
And we did. And you will, too.
