He was going to do it anyway, so asking us what we thought about it and pretending to give us a choice was an asshole way to do it. It would have been a much more stand up move to just say, "Hey, we're gonna turn off the other board next week."
Hmmmm...Kevin isn't running for president. He wasn't putting it to a *vote*. See, polls don't mean anything beyond opinions. He never said he was giving us a choice. I mean, either I am exceptionally smart and realize that-but poll has never equalled "vote". He never said that if we nay his idea he would nix it. He didn't imply it either. He asked for our opinions and feelings. Again, Kevin did not put it to a vote. I've been here three days now...and *I* could grasp that...why can't all the old schoolers. I have been to the other board. I like it. Quite a bit. It's fun, friendly and there is no regular *read the Summ.* posts. People are generally friendly and cordial. But this is childish(and yeah...I'll say it a third time...the Nazi reference was totally tacky, uncalled for and the argument of one who is losing). I am sorry...but the more I read, the more I lose sympathy for the other board. Let's *deal* with it like adults. On both sides of this fence.
