you seem to think you're pretty special huh? and i don't mean you have a
good self image, i mean you are full of yourself.
here's how i see it. you were the fat, geeky kid in school and people made
fun of you and you always wished you were hanging out with the cool people
instead of your dork friends. well, movies and writing took you away from
your pitiful life and you could create your own little fantasy world. so
you made clerks, it got noteriety, and you were now a quasi-star. time
passes, you've amassed an impressive cult following, and all sorts of kids
(and older folks too) who would drop pants if you asked them personally.
now you're the popular one.
and you're getting "revenge" on the people of your youth. you can also
call all the shots, do what you want to do, and hide behind the tired
excuses of "i pay for this site, when you pay for a site you can do
whatever you want".
come on kev. that's a true hack statement. you've made my 'kevin is a
hack' point valid.
case in point. sean fanning of napster fame. his first thought is of the
napster user, he could've shut down the napster servers at any time but he
didn't because he is truly concerned about the people. and he actually
would've had a good reason to cut that shit off, you on the other have no
lawsuits against you. you're just an egomaniacal prick.
personally, i don't give a fuck about the other board. i never post there,
and i never will. but it amuses me that you're going to piss off a whole
group of people just because you like to excercise your so-called "power"
every now and then. that's pretty weak, kev.
in all the times i've posted shit here, i never commented on you
personally, just my distaste for the shit movies you make. but now, i have
a better understanding of how you operate as a human being.
here's the standard hack reply that i expect to get.
" how many other directors give as much to the fans as i do? i don't have
to have a board at all, and i don't have to ever post anything, i don't
have to offer people on my board roles in my movies, or pictures on street
posts, and screening of my movies. i give too much, and still people are
ungrateful"
--that's bullshit kev. imagine if i took a homeless dude and set him up in
a million dollar mansion, then after a few months told him to get out.
well, i didn't 'have' to put him up in the first place, so i can take it
away anytime i want. the fact is: you did make this and the other board.
you do post here. you do offer superficial tokens to your fans. now, it's
all taken on a life of itself, and you have two choices. continue on the
road of being a dick that you're on, or accept it, listen to the people
that will probably pay the $7.50 to see your new film, and try and be a
stand-up guy about it.
i find it interesting that you announce you're closing that other board and
at the same time offer to put people's pix in your movie. you're a
business man, i will give you that.
so i hope you get some satisfaction out of banning me again, because we all
know that banning someone who criticizes you is such a rush. but it will
be a hollow victory. my advice: make your movies, play with your kid, and
don't start shit on your website because you feel the need to show how
powerful you are.
