All the Scientologists I've ever met have been really nice, in fact beyond nice. Also they don't cram their ideas down peoples throats, their really laid back about it. Now that's just the ones I've either met or seen in the media. I will say that Scientology changed the life of an aquaintance of mine for the better. He is a much better person for being involved in Scientology. Your analogy is a little off also, the members of a church would not really be likened to the cover of a book, they would be the characters portrayed in the book, the cover most likely would be the church building. I'm sure some have had negative expiriences with it, I was just saying from what I've seen of it I've found nothing negative and I can only state my personal expirience or what I have witnessed firts hand.

It ought to have. My statement still stands.
Now Mormons, I've done papers on them and they are wacky,and I lived near them to, so I have legitimate gripes against them.
I am mormon so I have some legitimate gripes with them as well.
I'm still not sure if you were agreeing with me or knocking me in your post. Since I never said any of those things about Catholiicism, Judiaism, or Islam I assume that you were agreeing with me that people ought to learn everything they can before bashing [note: even if you are well versed on something it's probably better not to say negative things about it becuase that just hurts the people involved in it], but If you were agreeing with me then I have no idea where all of that came from. It was in no way my intention to start off a debate, I was just saying that...nevermind...I think maybe you have some religious issues and I'm sorry I brought them to the surface.
