I need money for my film too. It sucks but you gotta do it - I go out and set up a table that has flyers and a sign mentioning my film and people donate money to help for equipment costs. It's the easiest kind of fund raiser and if you're in the right place, people will be glad to help. Just have a sign saying you're doing an indie film and all help is appreciated.
