I don't think DVD's will ever totally replace tapes (let's face it, people have invested TOO MUCH in VHS tapes to give up on them. Also, you can record. Not to mention home movies!). I'd love to get a DVD player on the side, but let's face it, most people wouldn't rather spend $150 or whatever on new VHS's than one DVD player. No one will get a DVD and the 4 special edition DVDs AND the Clerks: TCS DVD. Most people don't have that kind of money, even if they are huge fans.
I agree, they really should have some special edition VHSs. I just don't think a DVD player is worth the investment, but I really would like to see those interviews. o.O
