I was in my local comic shop yesterday and struck up a conversation with a gentleman who visits the store occassionally. He is a freelance writer/artist who has done work for both marvel and DC. I dont know his name, as ourt relationship is based soley on our love for comics. He told me and the owner of the store that he just got a gig with DC doing character sketches for the DC roleplaying game. He was in the shop buying back issues to use as research material. The conversation switched to Green Arrow and I asked him if he knew if and when the title was coming out, and if so would Kevin Smith be writing....Now this is where I need help..He said (I want to know if he wwas blowing smoke up my ass...As I said I really do not know this guy all that well) That Kevin Smith has sent a proposal to DC about the Green Arrow's spirit going into that of a serial killer....blah blah....and fighting crime etc. He said that the script was rejected and that was about it...
Any truth to this Kevin....or is this guy just full of shit...
