: : : : : Did anyone else here see the "Clerks" movie poster in "Scream"?
: : : : Yeah, I saw it. I also saw the movie on Stu's VCR. That's what encouraged me to rent the movie. I rented it; loved it; bought it.
: : : I taped it...off Cinemax.
: : You really shouldn't say that. Taping ANYTHING off of TV is illegal. And you are also ripping off Kevin. Don't be such a puss by not going out and paying 20 bucks for it. I bought it without knowing what it was. Just was walking out of a store, and remembered something I read in Rolling Stone about it. At least you know it kicks ass and you won't be wasting any money.
: Why in fuck's name would you spend $20 for a movie you've never seen? Why not just rent the damn thing? It costs $3 and you can just return it and never see it again if it's the worst movie you ever saw.
Hey, man. Back off. I don't go knocking the shit you buy. And it was when it first came out, so it was 10 bucks. I buy NoFx CDs without listening to em first. I never heard a damn song by them before I got Punk in Drublic, and they still aren't played on radio. When I want a CD by them, I gotta go with my instincts. I'm pretty good at that now.
: And also I'd just like to know where you got that little tidbit that it's illegal to tape ANYTHING off TV. Does that mean I can't tape "Seinfeld" or "NewsRadio"? Then why the FUCK do they sell tapes? To collect dust? Jesus. Think before you speak.
Here's what I heard: Taping off of TV for later viewing IS legal. If you're gonna tape just cuz you're too cheap to buy something more than a blank tape, it is ILlegal. And that's from a law school guy.
