Anyways, I have a few comic-related questions for you! Please, do not feel under any obligation to answer them...but know that if you don't, I shall single-handedly (sp?) bring down your empire.
I am at the end of my tether with what I am about to ask...I get a lot of um's and uh's from those I have asked. So here goes.
How much does a beginning writer make at a major comic-company (DC, Marvel, Image)? I'm talking just sold their first-ever story with no previous experience!
What about the page-rate for a starting penciller? At a major company, that is!
Are you making the beginner's rate or a special extra-sweet deal 'cause you're a berserker? What is the income difference on an Oni comic to a a Marvel comic?
If you could answer those questions, i would be forever in your debt. Even a shot-in-the-dark estimate would be appreciated!
