First of all, with me being one of the thousands of "aspiring filmmakers", I want to say thanks to Kevin for the inspiration he has given me. A lot of the time I'll hear things like "being a filmmaker is like winning the lottery, if your even that lucky". What I like about Kevin is despite his pseudo-famous social status, he still seems like the everyday normal chap. And that what makes me think to myself, "hey, it's not all that unaccessible, look at Kevin Smith! He was a normal guy like me and now look at him!"
Now that I'm done with my flaming-prone ass kissing, I'll ask my question:
When you were still in the status of "aspiring" did you have anyone you looked up to?
