Vincent, your ideas for the poster sound pretty cool--I really like the idea of the second image superimposed in the sky. That tag line's long as hell, though. Maybe something like...
"I know now there is no God."
Short, mysterious, hooks them in, and it's a line from the film. Or, if you want to abandon dialouge...
"Where dreams and nightmares come true....A BETTER PLACE."
As for the trailor, just use those opening shots--the trees slowly rustling in the wind. Titles fade in....FROM THE PRODUCERS OF CLERKS AND CHASING AMY....STARRING EION BAILEY....Smash cuts to scenes of violence, anger, blood (Crawling Australian ants! Eion jamming the gun in the dealer's face! The infamous Schnot drip scene!) Then back to the trees. Over that, have Eion going "I'm gonna make this world a better place if it's a last thing I do.", or whatever he says. Temp track it with the Goblins or the Saint-Saens peice from "Days Of Heaven"....
