Sorry I missed your last trip to the board (I had food poisoning...and judging from how Matt looked at ShoWest I think he knows how I felt =)...
I loved GWH...It was an amazing movie....
My question for the 3 of you is...
Was/Is it difficult trying to get the ears/respect of the studio and/or "right people" as writers because of your ages...was age ever and issue...did they feel you didn't have enough "life experience" or "stories to tell" to do anything... I'm 25 (or at least I'll be next week) and write and direct commercial spots and corporate pieces (with 3 screenplays collecting dust on my hard drive) and the "suits" always seem to look down at me because of my age (and it probably doesn't help the situation that I'm female either)....was age ever an issue for you guys, and how did you deal with it?
Thanks for helping to prove "genX-ers" (as they love to label us) are capable of dealing with intelligent, emotional issues in a powerful way...
