I agree, but when referring to the past, even in passing surely it's better to tell the truth, or at least imply a generally accurate picture. I mean she implied that she'd never been with a guy, and yet she was FINGERCUFFS for fuck's sake!
Holden was wrong to judge her for this but I think the knowledge would have been a lot less painful if it came from her. I agree that Holden has some issues, but if Alyssa was so "comfortable" with her past... then why didn't she tell him?
I mean blind Freddy could see Holden's inherent neuroses...

Security was an issue true, but you can only be secure with a partner then you trust them and you can only trust them when they tell the truth.
