Okay, we have a LOT to cover here, let's get this outta the way.
1.) Buckaroo Banzai vs. The World Crime League. I saw the script on Corona's Movie Rumors. It was optioned. It had two very familiar characters... Jay and Silent Bob. (I dunno why Holy Toledo seemed appropriate for Bob to say, but it made me laugh.) Now, had the rights to that flick been acquired and these guys approached you about this cameo would you have...
a) Gone in and done it
b) Told them to fuck off for using your characters and direct them to some other "gen x" flick for references
c) Other
d) Should a Banzai sequel be made (and if so, what would you wanna see in it?)
Just curious. I had posted Jay & Bob's few lines of dialogue last time, but I won't this time. Too lazy.
2.) The Nutty Professor (original) Have you seen it? Jerry Lewis (or so I've read) reveals a hidden side with Buddy Love (as well as mocking the shit outta Dean Martin - a fine fuck you.) Have you seen it, and if so, what be your thoughts?
3.) Tromeo & Juliet -- have you seen THAT? Parts of it sound like some of the threads on this board... it's possibly the funniest damn movie I've seen yet in '98. I mean after all; it was some messed up shit (in iambic pentameter.)...Why can I see some of those folks doing an Askewniverse film at some point? I dunno.
4.) Joe Q's response to my question (Are ya gonna ask Kev back for more DD?) "Are you fuckin' nuts? Of course!" So... Hooray. As long as you don't decide to ban Marvel. (; Speaking of which; are there any other Marvel characters/titles that'd be interesting to you if some other writer was handling 'em (and if so, who?) Just trying to make you think after a day of work. (;
Come to think of it, I managed to spit out these ques with a minimum of rambling for once! Wow! (I'm still convinced, though, that should we ever meet you'll want to choke the life outta me on sight to keep me from ranting. It's a common reaction. Don't feel bad.)
