Any new info yet on how badly they're screwing up the Superman film?
Kevin, has the situation changed as to whether or not they will
approach you for a rewrite yet...?
What did you think of Cage's casting? I know it is more or less set in stone by now, but I am convinced that this and a bad script will kill this film at the box office.

[The best idea I heard as far as casting goes is to use big names
in all the supporting roles (but NOT Jim Carrey or Nicholson, for god's
sake), and keep the role of Superman for a relative unknown, such
as Patrick Warburton (the actor who plays Elaine's boyfriend on Seinfeld). He's got the physique for it and with a dye job and a spitcurl would look errily like Supes. He also did the voiceover for superman in the Seinfeld/AMEX commercial, and can play very "Truth/Justice/Wholesome".]

But of course, it's too late to second guess the lame casting now.
I just hate to see comic book properties slowly self-crapulate like this.
I started to lose faith in this one as soon as I heard Nick Cage was cast as the lead and even more so when I heard Kevin was no longer involved with it.
Do you, Kevin, have any interest in/involvement with directing or scripting any more comic-related films...?
