: rats on friday, clerks on saturday...

: but, johny, you knew this, no?

this was taken from the summaries.......

how can jay and silent bob be in two places at once?
I mean, in Clerks it's said that Julie Dwyer died "last night" (according to Sanford
through Randal). And in Mallrats, she also died "last night" (they don't come
right out and say it. It's either last night, or early in the morning).

Kev's answer?
Julie died on Thursday night ... 'Rats takes place on Friday ... Clerks takes
place on Saturday. So Jay and Silent Bob aren't in the same place. *AND*
Randal has no concept of time or space.
If Clerks is on a Saturday, why does Veronica urge people to "go
commute"?
People *can* commute on a Saturday.
If Clerks is on a Saturday, why is Veronica going to college?
Especially on Easter Saturday?! Even more so, T.S. doesn't have to go to
college, and 'Rats is on a Friday!
Well, yes, but they go to different colleges, and different colleges have
different schedules. As for it being Easter, it could be the last day before
a week or two of vacation, or something.
