I was wondering if the group Sublime was one of Kevin's influences in Mallrats. The whole Shannon story, with screwing girls in that uncomfortable place, only to find him getting screwed in that place in jail at the end. That little portion reminds me of the song Date Rape. Plus the song Smoke Two Joints was used. My assumption seems accurate, but if anyone knows for sure let me know.
