: loved NOTLD, only saw the remake of DOTD yet picked up the original Day of the dead as a blind buy. Easily one of the worst zombie films i've ever seen. I couldn't believe Romero did it. everything annoyed me about it, especially the characters. Tough army guys were a joke, mad scientists were too kooky for thier own good, that chick was annoying, her lover boy was a freak and that jamacian dude was just someone i wanted to slap. Half the film was boring. NOthing really fucking happened. I don't need constant carnage all the time, but this was far too slow paced for a zombie flick. and ocne the zombies make it on screen the film remains really flat. just blah. and i hated the music. fuckin 80's style kraftwerk light style. couldn't stand it.
