and as for Stephen Holden, what do we know about the life story of
this bitter old Jersey Boy? He worked in the music bidness. Wrote a
book called Triple Platinum. Writes poetry published by the New
Yorker. Went to Yale. Is a twin. Thinks highly of the Michael
Macdonald CD "Motown". Clearly he is SO not the man to be
reviewing J.G. as it would seem he cannot abide tenderness.
His insulting contempt for Liv Tyler, disgust for parental doting, and
unnecessarily spiteful diss of Raquel Castro - in short, his extremely
meanspirited and humorless, nay, vitriolic review makes me think he
ought to have....ah.....recused himself.
...in the hornet-green light of the growing Full Flower Moon, which is
in the night sky even as I marvel, it behooves me to say: on such a
schedule it is miraculous you found the time to lick anything....and
may we who have taken lickings, keep on ticking...straight on through
