Sometimes, I'm as nice and as patient as can be. Other times, I get nasty and sarcastic - hence the name, "NastyPup." I was pathetically shy as a child but evolved into someone who spoke comfortable in front of large groups of colleagues (scientists and physicians at medical conferences). People change. At my 10 year High School reunion, nobody recognized me. Most of the "popular" kids were either dead, in jail or failures but the shy geeks, like myself, were the most successful.
