I just can't. I think the Creeper just looks too much like the Boogy Man to not scare me. He's got the long coat and hat that people used in books when they told us "not to talk to strangers because they could be child molestors" when I was little. Plus he has those wings and rotten looking skin and all that. So combining the looks of a demon with the outfit of the "dirty old man who likes to touch little girls in areas covered by their bathing suit" brings back all those childhood fears.
