LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The ensemble voice cast of Fox's hit animated comedy "The Simpsons" has signed a new four-year deal with the show's producer after going on strike about a month ago in the midst of contract negotiations.

Dan Castallaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer and Yeardley Smith will return to work next week.

"We couldn't be happier to have reached a multiyear deal with the enormously talented cast of 'The Simpsons," producer 20th Century Fox TV said in a statement late Friday. "Fans will be pleased to know that despite our recent production delay, we are optimistic that they can look forward to a full season's episodes next year on Fox, and hopefully many years to come."

"The Simpsons" is returning for its 16th season in the fall. The show, which celebrated its 300th episode last season, has been Fox's strongest scripted performer, anchoring the network's Sunday lineup.

Additionally, the show has generated hundreds of millions in auxiliary revenues such as DVD sales and merchandise, raising the value of the franchise to over $1 billion.
