As a self-proclaimed Daddy's Little Girl, I could definitely tell that it was written by someone with first-hand knowledge of the special relationship between little girls and their dads.
Lost my mom two years ago while I was still in school, and though going through the same thing at a different age, my dad and I went through much of the same as the characters in JG.
Long story short-the moving was personally and moving because you could tell it came from someone who had experienced many of the same things. Thanks for being so open and relatable.
