We knew it was lame, and that even Dinner was touchy and people were uptight. So me and my date took Battleship to the fancy restaurant where all the other couples went. We played battleship before/during the meal.
The waiter even stopped to tell us we looked like the only couple having fun. "umm, ill just have water, and a salad" as opposed to "YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!"
Then, beleive it or not, we secured a MATTRESS WAREHOUSE to go to AFTER the prom.
Oh to be 15 again.
: its non stop at my school. hwo much money was your dress? are you getting a limo? whose your date? yada yada yada. i hate this. i never should have told people i was going. am i messed up in the head for thinking this? jesus, to spend so much money on a dance for a school you can't wait to get out of its ridiculous. but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i got so much crap from a few friends and my mom when i told em i didn't care to go.
: now i gotta get a tux, and get a date and blah blah friggin blah. all i want to do is get out of high school. graduate my ass so i can move to ventura and begin my new life.
