so. I'm playing a game and sort of half watching tv when this bizarre show comes on where Pacino is running around asking people on the streets how they feel about shakespeare.
Cut to scene: Pacino and some others sitting around in a room acting out scenes from shakies work. I mean, just sitting and REALLY acting it out. All dramatic and over the top.
So it occurs to me, actors are so odd. I mean, I'm an odd potato, so I can say this. What a strange world it must be to constantly be acting things out, conjuring up emotions that aren't really appropriate to sitting in a room with some buddies, being all pretentious with the shakespeare stuff.
it just strikes me as really, really strange. I mean, isn't it hard to mainain a sense of self when you are constantly faking it?
