The Weathermen Underground........awesome

Matt,

It was a pleasure speaking with you today.

Below for your consideration is information on "The Weather Underground,"
a powerful documentary, that was nominated this year for an Academy Award
for Best Documentary Feature, is available May 25 on DVD with
bonus tracks from Docurama.

The Weather Underground is a bold, evocative film that tells the
story of the Weathermen, a group of '70s student radicals, who, outraged by
the Vietnam War and racism in America, went underground to wage a low-level
war against the U.S. government throughout the decade. Thirty years later,
former members look back and speak candidly about the times and their
experiences, including how they evaded one of the largest FBI manhunts in
history.

What makes this a fascinating documentary is the similarities we have
today with this era. They had Vietnam, we have Iraq. They had Nixon, we
have Bush. They had economic woes, we have economic woes. How has our
country changed in 35 years--and where have all the radicals gone?

Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers, former members and leaders of the
Weathermen, as well as co-directors,Sam Green and Bill Siegel are
available for interviews.
