he was kicked out of apple in the 90s and sold all of his stock in protest... so began apple's
"dark" ages...
in 1997 or so he came back as the "interim" CEO (iCEO) and eventually became the official CEO.
he's famous for having the lowest salary ($1 annually) and highest "executive compensation"
package (which one year included a Gulfstream V...)
he's fun to follow... right now he's trying to get Michael Eisner ousted from the Disney CEO
position (and roy disney and that other dude who walked have said that they would be behind
Jobs as CEO of Disney)... it'll be interesting to see what happens there.
