My mom also says that Bert freaked me out.
There was also a cartoon/music number on there that sent me running for my room - it was about a crow who had a piece of cheese, and a fox who wanted to get it from him. Near the end, the crow gets scared and goes AAWWWWRRRKK! and drops the cheese. For some reason, that sound scared me silly.
But all I can remember is the spooky last line of the song:
"And the fox ran away with the cheese. The fox ran away with the cheese..."
