Does anyone know anything about this sequel? I've never heard of it till yesterday. Personally, I think it's horrible news, and I'm sure you guys will feel the same way. A sequal to a Dead movie...and WITHOUT Romero. Anyway, here's the article from Joblo.com.

Remember that DAY OF THE DEAD sequel everybody was talking about? No? That's because until now, nobody knew a damn thing about it. This is very sneaky news indeed. Fangoria is reporting that Taurus Entertainment, which owns the rights to DAY, has just wrapped shooting in LA on DAY OF THE DEAD: CONTAGIUM. The follow-up was directed by Taurus president and CEO Jim Dudelson and vice president of production Ana Clavell. And to that I say, what the shit? Often treated like an unwanted stepchild by fans, the original DAY (which is also being rumored for a remake) has always been George Romero's favorite of the trilogy which makes me believe he wanted nothing to do with this film. Romero has had his name all over the headlines lately without even doing anything. This recent zombie movie trend can do nothing but give him props every time they try to promote themselves and you would think a sequel to one of the original masterpieces would at least get a mention somewhere down the line. Not so, click here to read the rest of Fango's information on the makers. Plot details, cast, and physical proof of it's existence should pop up when we least expect it.
