Does anyone know how you would go about getting resale rights, or distribution rights,to a movie? There's a particular movie that came out about 20 years ago, Yellowbeard, it's been released on VHS but i've done a little research, and I so far, it seems that noone holds the rights to the movie. I've emailed the former disributors, and they say that they dont have the dvd distribution rights, and seem basically clueless...
I guess my question is, is there one particular place that keeps track of all of this information? Also, a ballpark figure of what someone would guess it would cost to procure said rights, or rights for any movie for that matter...
