Last Saturday I saw the first and last showing of Kill Bill Vol. 2 in my local theatre and I don't know why most of you guys are all fussing..I thought it was great (though I might be biased cuz I just love all of Quentin's films)...don't tell me that Chap. 8 (I think that's the right chapter) Elle and I was not awesome...that fight scene was absolutely brilliant and the part where Bea takes out the Elle's eye...I was practically on the floor having a laughing seizure!!

The scene with Pai Mai was a perfect replica of how those old kung fu movies were shot and I thought it was just a great throwback to those flicks...Pai Mai was completely hysterical!! His fucked up comments and his fighting was great...He was definitely the comic relief of the movie...

And there was perfect resolution except with Elle that leaves a little mystery but Tarantino loves to do that stuff (Like with Pulp Fiction...what was in that suitcase...and in Resvoir Dogs, did Mr. Pink really get away or was he caught at the end?)...The scene where Bea finally sees her daughter left me teary eyed..And everybody expected Bill to have this glorious long battle scene and death but it was short and emotional and that's what Quentin does...the unexpected..and I think it was better that way personally cuz it surprised me... And, c'mon, the Superman bit was fucking funny and genius...Quentin is a mastermind when it comes to dialogue and, obviously, directing...

Yes, Vol. 1 had more action and Vol. 2 had more emotion but if you look at it as one movie whole (like how it was supposed to be) it's perfect...it percisely evens it out...which is why Kill Bill is one of my top 5 or even top 3 favorite movies of mine!
