Though I'm sure it's probably been brought up already, I don't remember any distinct threads, so I'm going have to heap credit on this performance.

Aside from being absolutely one of the funniest comedians for literally 30 some odd years... I've never seen anyone trust the guy with a role like he has in Jersey Girl. I lay off the spoilers, but the performance he gave was just awesome, I'm not a big crier in movies (the last time I remember was when 'Red' was walking up the beach in Mexico to 'Andy Dufresne' in Shawshank)... but the line he gives at the end... I couldn't keep it back... I wanted to call my pop right then and there... Kevin thank you again for a great movie, and thank you for giving Carlin a role that could really show what he has to offer beyond the amazing commentaries he's offered up over his years on the comedic stage.

Also... Dude, I had no idea 'Milton' aka Stephen Root was in your movie... fucking hilarious... literally every line he had I was dying (as was most of the theater)...
