I work at a movie theater in Union County, NJ, and Jersey Girl did very, very well.
I worked Friday and Saturday, and almost each show I had to start the movie 5-10 minutes late because people kept coming in.
I saw the flick Friday morning, and loved it to death, (I could tell I was amongst VA fans, 'cause the new logo killed). I also wasn't the only guy in the audience looking for a tissue at parts. And from what I hear from my other employees I spoke to, it continued to do well today.
