Kevin-

Movie was great. Thanks for giviing us something we can watch over and over. My
wife and I went to a 510 showing on Saturday afternoon. The crowd was waiting to
get into the theatre. When we came out, there was another crowd waiting.
The showing we were in was pretty packed (about 85%, for a sunny saturday
afternoon!)

The crowd seemed to laugh on cue. We did encounter several people in our area
that had tears in their eyes. I mean i was getting a little misty at the end with the
dance. You're not human if you didn't.

Here's my wife with a few words.......

a few words, i don't think so--i've never said anything in a few words.

I spent part of my life in the Highlands ( my parents had a house right outside in
Leonardo). In case you were interested in reactions, I did just want to relay my
experience while watching the movie....there were 2 girls in front of us and a girl
and guy behind us that were pretty emotinal throughout . ...i, too, admit to a few
moments of instability....but i did feel justified to see those around me feeling the
same way. ..On a familial level, you really hit home, as all relationships were
dysfunctional and fabulous at the same time. The father daughter relationship was
beautiful and i cannot say enough about Geroge Carlin. Excellent casting and
superb writing. Did you think I forgot about Ben? What can I say that I'm sure
thousands of your fans haven't already? the role was written for him and i'll stop
there.

You thank the Highlands for giving youthe chance to grow up and I thank you for
letting me enjoy a movie on a Saturday afternoon in Hamilton. I will recommend
this movie to everyone I know!

Back to the husband.....

The only criticism we had were the credits went to fast and we look forward to your
little thank yous, now we'll have to see the flick again to catch the ones we missed
(and then buy the DVD to catch the remainders we might have missed)

In closing, thanks. F' Liza Schwartzbaum from EW. And god forbid the Mrs goes
before me, I hope there's a Liv Tyler in glasses waiting to give me a "Mercy Hump!"
