I saw it Friday night and the theater was probably about half full. I will say this though, those who were in there LOVED it. I knew the movie worked when Ollie spoke his line about Gertie and her mother taking his life away and EVERYONE in the theater let out a gasp of disbelief. That, and there was actually applause in the theater after the Sweeny Todd scene.
So, those that have seen it loved it. I'm spreading the word to my co-workers and friends, especially those that have kids. And I'll be seeing it at least two more times.
