If it's any consolation for the bad reviews, I'd still kill to be in your spot (no, that's not a death threat). I realize I have no perspective, but I think I'd gladly take a few critical lumpings to get a flick out there. Especially one so personal, which I can't imagine anyone could truly judge or dampen for you.
I'll post my thoughts on the flick after this weekend (this marks the first time since MALLRATS that I haven't caught an Askew flick before opening day). I'm greatly looking forward to hitting the theater.
