As I've said- I've seen the film, and it's a winner. I am pleased to see that the patented Smith dialogue still holds up sans "cocksmoker."
You and the entire Viewaskew clan have done superb over the last few weeks. All of the promotional appearances have come across great- you and the crew are charming in each one even though you are facing down the same tired questions.
I hope today you can take your daughter to Scooby Doo 2 and sneak out to peak in on the folks who are laughing and crying at Jersey Girl. Have a peanut butter sandwich with your daughter and give yourself a pat on the back.
As to the critics....well, all of your films have legs, Kevin. 10 years from now, we'll still be watching the film on DVD, but I won't be able to tell you if Ebert loved it and Roeper was being an idiot or vice-versa. Don't sweat those guys.
