With the exception of about 2 years in Moorehead when i was a kid and a year and a half going to NCSU in raleigh i've lived in greenville my whole life.
The weather is jacked up here. I still remember the words of my father "Son, if you don't like the weather in Pitt County, give it a week... it will change"
as for downtown, i never touch the stuff. too many people packed into too small a place with too much alcohol. prefer to goto the little hole in the wall places away from down town
