It takes you on an emotional roller coaster, tugging at your heartstring one moment, making you laugh the next, and seethe with anger the next. Raquel Castro was absolutely brilliant in her movie debut, she sold me on her laughter, her tears and her outbursts. As a mother, I wanted to run home to my daughter hug her and never let her ago. It makes you realize how precious life really is, and to make the most of what you have, rather than to obsess over what was, or what might have been. Watching the characters grow throughout the movie as they try to overcome obstacles in their life, you feel like you're right along side them, battling it out as well. You aren't just an observer, you're a participant. The onscreen chemistry is believable, and of course Carlin and his antics are hysterical. There's just the right balance of laughter and and heartache to make this movie a must see, must own for any body with half a heart. Make a beeline to the theatres folks, this one is going to sell out. Kudos Kevin, on a job well done!
