You could be one of those surprise hits or... shit, man, was Miramax just setting you up for failure? I mean, they might as well have put you up against Spiderman 2 (though Hellboy the week after might be just as bad), with all the popcorn flicks out right now. But that's still a hefty list to put before your own movie.
But I doubt Starsky and Hutch will pull in more than Jersey Girl even though it's playing in nearly twice as many theaters. I'm thinking it'll get about ten million opening weekend. Give or take two million.
What with your expanded audience and exposure, you might surprise some people out there. It's a shame about all the anti-Affleck sentiment around right now. The aftershock's so bad, it's probably effecting Casey's career as well.
