...but I really don't regard her music with any degree of reverence whatsoever. It's not like she's one of the breed of endless "new Dylan singer-songwriters" that is trying hard to be taken seriously. She's a pop artist. She belongs on those package tours where each performer gets 20-25 minutes in front of an audience of 8-15 year-olds in immense danger of becoming bored out of their skulls.
As an actress though, I'd like to see her do more intersting roles. I love it when the general public (or media) is proven wrong.
