BEN AFFLECK is back to doing what he wants. After a whirlwind year with more press
coverage of his failed romance with JENNIFER LOPEZ than his big-budget blockbusters like
'Daredevil' and 'Paycheck' (not to mention the infamous 'Gigli'), the 32-year-old actor has a
renewed perspective on his priorities. He's also happy to be promoting a smaller, more
intimate film with his old pal, director KEVIN SMITH, that's more on par with the pair's 1997
indie hit 'Chasing Amy.' "I wanted to go back to doing something like the movies when I was
starting out," Ben tells ET.
