And I'm part Irish. Diluted, though, in that my family has been here for a few generations.
But the Irish people I used to work with in at my old job said it's a bit more solemn in Ireland. So why we have this parade here, I'm not sure.
But, I am looking extremely forward to dodging the drunk 14 year olds who cut school to go to the parade when I step outside to get my lunch.
