I thought it was better. Written by an old Troma employee? You betcha. I loved it, and I love the older ones too. I'm hoping Romero's gonna get to make his next LIVING DEAD flick, like he's hinting at. Or at least a 'his vision' of DAY OF THE DEAD.
But, yeah. The remake is one of the better horror flicks I've seen in years. It had it all, and one of the coolest openings I've seen in a movie. Go Go Go see it.
