It's not known & I like it that way. One of the scary things about the original trilogy & this one is the mystery that causes everything.

Okay....you just lost all respect with me. "28 Days Later" was decent but 'empty' w/a lame ending. "Dawn of the Dead" 2004 is WAY WAY WAY better than that.
