Saw it in the theatre, I agree with everything you said, but didn't like it all that much it was leading up to a twisted dark end, but it just seemed to get funnier which was a huge let down. There were a few really stupid moments, like when Rider falls in the water and they made a huge deal about him finding out the virus is in the water, but they revealed that little point to the audience 30 minutes earlier. The deputy's little party was a bit much and he was basically useless.
A good movie but with too many little things that brought it down and you can't just overlook
