And Wolverine has been the focus of X-Men for a long time. He's by far the most popular character and that leads to him being the focus. He's certainly the most intriguing, but I agree, there are other good storylines: Angel and his family wealth for one. Colossus and his sister. Storm's childhood. Rogue's "family." Gambit. Lots of cool stuff.
I can't wait to see The Thing on screen personally.
