Do you think his arguments are relevant? He seems to think it's too sitcom and that it's major problem is implausibility - i.e. there is no way Ollie would be so alienated from his profession over that one mistake, considering how good he is supposed to be. I'm not sure if that's true, and probably isn't, but it all sounds a bit nitpicky to me. There's that whole suspension of disbelief thing I think he's missing. If I care about the story and characters, minor plot holes aren't likely to matter.
