Yes I am discriminatory and biased on this subject due to belief and will admit it and understand it perfectly. However, I am not denying love... I am denying government acknowledgement. The same as my child is denied the right to pray in school if he wants to.

Nope... my government says that there is a separation of church and state... just because your church says you are married, my government doesn't have to... however, that said, when was the last time a non chritian president was elected... NEVER... of course they are going to push thier beliefs and values... that is who they are. And just because an amendment is proposed it doesn't mean that it will be enacted... WE THE PEOPLE have to vote on it... and my vote will be for the amendment as is your option to vote against it... not to say it will be the right decision but it will be the peoples majority decision whatever the outcome.
