i can totally sympathize. My dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer he went through several rounds of chemo and the prognosis was good, he was still in the hospital but we were expecting him to come home in the next day or so so i didnt go see him for a few days, and i got the call to come to the hospital right away and got there just in time to see him pass. It was horrible to experience it like that and wish i had spent more time with him that last few weeks!
